⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ On to my answers! ˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆

  1. What inspired you to decide to start a blog?

I’ve never been great at writing, failing my English GCSE 3 times! So, to improve I read and then I decided to write a blog about what I like to read!

  1. Where is your favourite place to read?

My library! I have a personal library in my home, with a cosy little corner seat covered in lots of blankets, pillows and a bookcase in the wardrobe. I like to spend rainy weekends curled up reading with coffee and chocolate!

  1. What do you think is the most challenging thing about being a book blogger?

I have had a couple of breaks with my blog, due to anxiety and the mean voice in my head telling me I am not good enough to be a book blogger or Im not well read enough to have an opinion. Personally, the hardest thing for me is believing in myself and believing that I belong to this community.

  1. Do you like to plan, or are you more of a spontaneous person?

I prefer to plan, but I am up for a spontaneous trip. I can and love to plan trips to the minute, however I don’t mind loose set plans, but I will probably scope out the area we are visiting just to make sure there is parking availability or if it’s a Sunday what times do places shut, and is it a better to plan a little more then we originally thought. Maybe, I’m not that spontaneous after all.

  1. What are your favourite blog posts to write?

I love a book tag! I find a book tag will make me look for books long since forgotten, or books I wanted to read once but maybe not so much now. And I really enjoy reviews. I love reading other peoples book reviews and seeing what they found in the book that I might have missed. I find the hardest ones are the Top 5s, I either have too many or not enough! I’m currently trying to write a Top 5 Maps In Books but it is soon becoming a Top 50 Maps In Books! SMH.

  1. Tea or coffee?

Coffee before 3pm, Tea after. Unless ill then Tea ALWAYS! I also love herbal and fruit teas.

  1. Which country or place would you most like to visit?

I am hoping to revisit Japan in Dec 2020. I’d like to explore more of the USA, but then again the UK has some incredible spots so for now I am really enjoying exploring the UK. My next spot I want to go to is Whitby, England. J

  1. Do you have any reading goals for 2019?

I have a book challenge linked here and I am considering doing a rainbow book challenge later on this year. I have a few books I definitely want to read this year, a few re-reads and book series to finish or continue. My Goodreads book challenge is set to 40, as I read 33 last year and I have a towering TBR (who doesn’t) that I would like to tackle.

  1. What was your last 5-star read?

Aristotle & Dante Discover The Secrets Of The Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz was so emotionally beautiful and absolute perfection. Oh, my heart!

  1. What is your favourite day of the week?

I work 4 days a week and have Fridays off, I did this to help manage my anxiety and to work on the blog and a few online courses I am taking. So, Fridays are my favourite.

  1. Of all the books you own, which one has the nicest cover?

I love hardcover books and if there is anything, big or small, embossed or printed on the naked cover it instantly is more stunning than with it’s jacket on. My current favourite is my special edition of Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. It’s red shimmery embossed lettering against the hardcover black sings to all my loves in visual book covers.

Thank you again Stephen, I really enjoyed those questions.
